To reach the Algarve region of Portugal, the best option is flying into the Faro (FAO) airport. Our accommodations are then just a short Uber from the airport.

If you happen to fly into Lisbon, then you can get a cheap roundtrip flight to Faro OR take the train for a more scenic route.

*We recommend checking out TAP Portugal airline. They have roundtrip flights to Europe (all direct through Lisbon) from multiple US airports that are often cheaper than other airlines. Look out for their quarterly sales! For those of you that are above average height, get premium economy or business.

We have reserved Small Luxury Hotel’s Pousada Palacio Estoi exclusively for our wedding weekend. All meals and events will take place on the property, so you should not need to leave once you arrive. We look forward to having everyone under one roof for the duration of the weekend.

We know this process is inconvenient, especially the payment part. So, if you prefer, you can send the money to us, then we’ll send one wire transfer to the hotel on behalf of those who choose this method.

  • Classic for 2 nights: $375

  • Premium for 2 nights: $445

  • The following will be taken care of:

    Saturday - Dinner

    Sunday - Breakfast buffet, cocktail hour canapes, 3-course dinner, and late night supper

    Monday - Breakfast buffet

    *If you arrive earlier Saturday or want lunch on Sunday, then you’re welcome to eat at the on-site restaurant at your own expense.

  • Yes, of course! We hope you all will enjoy your time in Europe beyond our wedding weekend. The Pousada is only reserved exclusively for 2 nights, but you can add on as many nights as you’d like. We will arrive on site on Thursday. When you email Vanda to reserve your stay, just mention the dates you’d like to stay and she’ll be able to provide the additional nights’ prices.

    It is also very easy to access other locations in Europe, so we recommend adding another destination to your top while you’re there.

  • The list is long! But our top 2 places would be Lisbon and Valencia.

    Lisbon is Margaux’s favorite city from the annual trips her family has been taking there since 2018 (minus 2020).

    Valencia is Frederick’s favorite due to the time he spent living and playing basketball there.
