To reach the Algarve region of Portugal, the best option is flying into the Faro (FAO) airport. Our accommodations are then just a short Uber from the airport.

If you happen to fly into Lisbon, then you can get a cheap roundtrip flight to Faro OR take the train for a more scenic route.

REMEMBER: The events start on Saturday so you will need to leave the US on Friday in order to account for the time change and make it in time for the Welcome Party. Many guests are arriving on Friday to have a day to recover from potential jet lag.

We have reserved Small Luxury Hotel’s Pousada Palacio Estoi exclusively for our wedding weekend. All meals and events will take place on the property, so you should not need to leave once you arrive. We look forward to having everyone under one roof for the duration of the weekend.

IMPORTANT:

Room Reservation through the hotel is closed if you haven’t already been in contact with Vanda.

However, don’t panic — we have reserved all remaining rooms so you will pay us directly for your room instead.

We will accept Apple Pay, Cashapp, Venmo or Zelle.

  • Premium Room: $450

If you are arriving earlier or staying later, please book your additional nights via the hotel’s website linked above. (Our dates are blacked out due to exclusivity so you cannot book our dates on the website.)

  • The following will be taken care of:

    Sunday - Breakfast buffet, cocktail hour canapes, 3-course dinner, and late night supper

    Monday - Breakfast buffet

    *If you arrive earlier Saturday or want lunch on Sunday, then you’re welcome to eat at the on-site restaurant at your own expense.

  • Yes, of course! Several people are arriving on Friday in order to get acclimated to the time change before the festivities begin on Saturday.

    The Pousada is only reserved exclusively for 2 nights, but you can add on as many nights as you’d like. We will arrive on site on Thursday. When you email Vanda to reserve your stay, just mention the dates you’d like to stay and she’ll be able to provide the additional nights’ prices.

    It is also very easy to access other locations in Europe, so we recommend adding another destination to your top while you’re there.

  • The list is long! But our top 2 places would be Lisbon and Valencia.

    Lisbon is Margaux’s favorite city from the annual trips her family has been taking there since 2016 (minus 2020).

    Valencia is Frederick’s favorite due to the time he spent living and playing basketball there.
